# Earnings and payouts

> You keep 70% of the builder fees on trades placed from your pages, paid Net-30.

## How you earn

Every order placed from a PolyEmbed widget carries PolyEmbed's registered Polymarket builder code. Polymarket charges builder fees on those trades. You keep **70% of the builder fees** on trades placed from your pages.

Only fees PolyEmbed actually receives count. Revenue is reconciled against Polymarket's builder-trades feed, and trades that can't be matched to a confirmed builder trade don't earn.

## The Earnings page

| Field | Meaning |

| **Lifetime earned** | Total across all periods |
| **In payout** | Amounts requested or approved and not yet paid |
| Periods table | Each period's amount and status |

Periods appear once readers trade from your widgets.

## Payout statuses

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `requested` | The period is waiting for review |
| `approved` | Approved and scheduled for payment |
| `paid` | Sent |
| `rejected` | Not paid, for example because it failed review. Contact support for details |

> Accept the payout terms in **Agreements** before your first payout. Requests can't be made until you do.

* Keep the widget on pages where it's relevant. Readers trade on markets that match what they're reading.
