# WordPress shortcode

> Attributes for the [polyembed] shortcode provided by the PolyEmbed WordPress plugin.

```text theme={null}
[polyembed widget_id="YOUR_WIDGET_ID" keywords="federal reserve,interest rates"]
```

## Attributes

**widget\_id** `string` *required*

Your widget ID. If empty, the shortcode renders nothing.

**title** `string` (default: get\_the\_title())

The headline to match. Defaults to the current post's title.

**keywords** `string`

Comma-separated keywords. See [Market matching](https://docs.polyembed.io/publishers/market-matching.md).

**debug** `string` (default: false)

Set to `true` to request the debug panel. See [`debug`](https://docs.polyembed.io/reference/embed-url#param-debug).

**d** `string`

Signed snippets only. Copy from the dashboard.

**kv** `string`

Signed snippets only. Copy from the dashboard.

**sig** `string`

Signed snippets only. Copy from the dashboard. `d`, `kv` and `sig` are only added to the URL when all three are present.

**base\_url** `string` (default: [https://iframe.polyembed.io](https://iframe.polyembed.io))

The widget host. Leave the default unless PolyEmbed support asks you to change it.

## Output

The shortcode renders an iframe with a unique ID, the same attributes as the [HTML embed](https://docs.polyembed.io/install/html-embed.md), and an inline script that handles `polyembed:resize` and `polyembed:hide` messages from the widget's origin. All attribute values are escaped.
