| CLOB | Polymarket’s central limit order book, where orders are matched |
| Deposit wallet | The reader’s Polymarket wallet that holds pUSD and shares. Derived from the reader’s signer and deployed gaslessly |
| Embed key | A versioned key used to sign snippets to your domain. Rotate it to invalidate old signed snippets |
| Embed session | A short-lived token issued per page view that authorizes the widget’s trading requests |
| Geoblock | Polymarket’s check of whether trading is allowed in the reader’s region |
| Impression | One render of a widget with a matched market |
| Interaction rate | Trade-button clicks plus Polymarket clicks, divided by impressions |
| Market order | An order that fills immediately at the best available prices. In the widget, it’s limited to 5% slippage and any unfilled remainder is cancelled |
| Owner signer | The wallet the reader controls, such as a browser wallet or an email wallet. It signs orders for the deposit wallet |
| pUSD | The dollar-pegged token Polymarket trades settle in, on Polygon |
| Relayer | Polymarket’s service that submits transactions and pays gas on the reader’s behalf |
| Share | A position in one outcome. Pays $1 if the outcome happens, $0 if it doesn’t |
| Widget | A PolyEmbed embed tied to one verified domain. One widget serves every article on the domain |
